The Media Production & Technology Show (MPTS 2023) is now over! The two-day show in London is the largest event for the Broadcast & Media industry in the UK, so we definitely couldn’t miss it. More than 10.000 attendees and 300 exhibitors gathered at the Olympia venue, and so did Woody Technologies, represented in the country by X-Dream Distribution and our local reseller, Altered Images, present at the show as well.
What the buzz was all about
It is always good to have the opportunity to reconnect with our customers, partners and contacts in the UK, but we also had the pleasant surprise to meet international visitors from other European countries, including France, Spain or Romania, who also made the trip to the show.
But even with several languages being spoken around us, and as we already noticed during the NAB Show in April, the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) for broadcast workflows dominated the conversation. Thankfully, Woody is already a part of it thanks to the new features of IN2IT Social, that now includes an AI-boosted search engine, and to our recent partnership with Limecraft for transcription and subtitling workflows.

MPTS London confirmed its reputation as a friendly and inspiring show that counts with the presence of all the major actors of the M&E industry, as well as a relevant space for relevant conferences about various topics, so…what’s not to like?
