A couple of weeks ago, our very own Astrid Cordonnier had the chance to visit Télévision Tunisienne (Tunisian TV) at the headquarters in the Notre-Dame district in Tunis on a project mission.
Télévision Tunisienne is the central public TV channel in Tunisia. Established in 2007 after the split between Tunisian radio (ERT) and television (ETT), the broadcaster currently manages two channels: TT1 (El Watania 1) for generalist content, and TT2 (El Watania 2) for regional and alternative content.
A new infrastructure for ETT

As part of a renewal project of their Media Asset Management system, IN2IT was chosen as the content ingest system of their new infrastructure. The project includes a two-server cluster for ingest, as well as an outgest cluster that Télévision Tunisienne will use to publish videos on social media.
While the installation itself was done remotely at the beginning of the year, training is still hard to do through video calls, so Woody provided guidance for the administrator and operator roles. Trainees shown a lot of interest in IN2IT and the possibilities it offers.
